Rapidly delivered rooftop PV system in Mönchengladbach
In Mönchengladbach, we completed one of our fastest projects: since 28 January 2025, the rooftop PV system with a capacity of 987.28 kWp has been producing green electricity. Across 31,300 m² of roof area, 2,296 modules generate clean power – mounted on the Ceniq 2 mounting system.
Challenge
The cable run was to be installed on a plasterboard wall. To ensure optimal structural stability, eight-metre-wide steel beams had to be attached to the building's concrete columns. There was also an organisational hurdle: a scheduled subcontractor became unavailable at short notice.
Solution
We secured the structure with additional steel beams and switched to available alternatives at short notice to keep to the schedule. Despite all the challenges, the system went online as planned.
