Flat-roof PV system for the retail sector in Le Gacilly
In Le Gacilly, our colleagues at Centroplan France delivered a flat-roof PV system with a capacity of 254.38 kWp. Across 1,231 m² of PV area, 664 modules generate clean electricity – in an efficient east-west orientation with the SSM1 mounting system.
Challenge
The existing cabling on the roof could not be reused because of the existing roof safety installations. It had to be removed entirely and redesigned – which made both the system design and the later monitoring considerably more complex.
Solution
Despite the demanding conditions, a powerful and precisely planned system was created. By redesigning the cabling in an east-west orientation, we were able to reliably ensure the system's yield and monitoring.
