PV system & battery storage Gilching
Zero-feed-in concept with PV system and battery storage in Gilching
In Gilching, Bavaria, we delivered a 300 kWp photovoltaic system with battery storage (430 kWh / 216 kW). The project was implemented as a zero-feed-in installation, so PV electricity is only used or stored on site and none is fed into the grid. The system optimises self-consumption, supports a stable energy supply at the site and meets the requirements for compliant operation without grid feed-in.

Challenge
The aim was to make PV generation usable for self-consumption to the greatest possible extent while ensuring zero feed-in. The implementation also placed high demands on coordination, documentation and technical design, particularly because of a complex fire safety clearance.
Solution
Centroplan handled the planning and delivery of the overall system: civil engineering works, installation of battery storage and the outdoor distribution board, cable routing and connection, and setting up the energy management system (EMS). The PV system was also built and integrated into the overall concept.
The combination of PV, storage and EMS optimises self-consumption and reliably delivers zero feed-in.
