Centroplan and WeShareEnergy form joint venture
Baesweiler, August 2026 – The Centroplan Group is steadily expanding its portfolio in the field of renewable energy. With the founding of Centroplan Energy GmbH, Centroplan's solar and energy specialists are combining their expertise with WeShareEnergy's marketing know-how in a joint venture. The aim is to offer companies complete energy solutions from a single source that go beyond installing photovoltaic systems and incorporate the innovative marketing of renewable energy.

Centroplan Energy expands the offering with innovative energy services
The new company complements Centroplan's existing range of services along the entire energy value chain. While Centroplan has supported companies for many years in planning, delivering and operating photovoltaic systems, battery storage and energy management systems, Centroplan Energy will focus in particular on marketing, controlling and economically optimising energy flows.
“The energy transition does not end with the installation of a solar system. What matters is how the energy generated is used, stored and marketed intelligently. With Centroplan Energy we are creating the basis for offering our customers complete solutions from a single source in future,” explains Florian Thelen, one of the two Managing Directors of Centroplan Energy.
Through the partnership with WeShareEnergy, the joint venture combines technological competence, energy sector expertise and digital marketing models. Together, the partners develop solutions that allow companies to make their energy generation more economical, reduce energy costs sustainably and open up additional revenue potential.
The planned services of Centroplan Energy include:
- Marketing of electricity from photovoltaic and storage systems
- Development and implementation of individual energy concepts
- Support with integrating battery storage and flexibility solutions
- Support for energy sharing projects and cross-site energy concepts
The founding of Centroplan Energy is a further step towards a complete energy solution for companies. In future, customers will benefit from an even closer link between energy generation, storage, control and marketing.

With the joint venture, Centroplan and WeShareEnergy are responding to the changing demands of the energy market. Centroplan Energy GmbH will be based in Baesweiler and will support projects in Germany and beyond.
