Centroplan moves into its new site in Baesweiler

Moving into the new Baesweiler site

Baesweiler, February 2026 – Centroplan is moving into its new site in the Baesweiler business park. The new build comprises a three-storey office building with around 2,050 square metres of net floor area and a workshop of around 560 square metres.

Office building and workshop in one place

The move creates room for more than 110 colleagues and a setting that brings work, exchange and training together in one place.

A building has a real bearing on how well people work together. The new site was therefore not planned as a mere expansion of floor space, but as a working environment that allows for focused work and spontaneous exchange alike. There is room here for more than 110 colleagues.

The site offers, among other things:

  • Well-appointed rooms with a calm, modern working atmosphere
  • Fixed workstations complemented by flexible coworking areas
  • A generous shared kitchen as a central meeting point
  • Water dispensers that make single-use bottles unnecessary in day-to-day work
  • Training and seminar rooms for professional development and knowledge transfer
  • A workshop where what has been learned goes straight into practice

The combination of seminar rooms and workshop matters to us: anyone who plans, builds and operates solar installations needs both: sound technical knowledge and hands on the component. Having both in one place considerably shortens the path from training to application.

Built sustainably, not just conceived that way

Anyone advising companies on climate-friendly energy supply should apply the same standard to their own building. For the office building we are therefore aiming for the KfW 40 efficiency house standard with the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG) and DGNB certification in Gold. The workshop was built in line with the requirements of the German Buildings Energy Act.

This gives Centroplan a site that leaves room for growth and that shows how economical and climate-friendly construction can be brought together.
