New headquarters in Baesweiler
Baesweiler, February 2024 – Centroplan is building a new headquarters in the Baesweiler business park. An office building with room for around 150 workplaces is going up on Robert-Koch-Strasse, bringing together departments that are currently spread across several locations.

One site for planning, delivery and operation
With the new building, Centroplan is creating the physical basis for what companies expect from us: end-to-end support from the initial system design through construction to the ongoing operation of their energy solution.
Centroplan's aim is to guide companies to an economical and sustainable energy solution, not to a single component. What began as the interplay of roof and photovoltaic system today also includes storage and charging infrastructure. The more closely these building blocks are interlinked, the more our customers benefit from having planning, delivery and operational management from a single source.
“For us, the complete system of roof and photovoltaics was always the starting point. That system has become considerably more complex since then, because storage and charging infrastructure have been added. Our job is to resolve that complexity so that what the customer ends up with on site is an installation that simply runs.”
Klaus Reinartz, Managing Director
That is exactly what the new site supports. Short distances between departments shorten the coordination that currently runs across several addresses. Beyond that, the plan is to relocate the registered offices of further group companies to Baesweiler and concentrate expertise in one place.
Second construction phase: space for knowledge transfer
In a further step, a dedicated building for the Centroplan Academy is to be built on the site. It is planned as a place for training and qualification where employees, partner companies and customers work hands-on with roofing and solar energy. Qualified specialists are one of the limiting factors of the energy transition, and the Academy is our answer to that.
Prospects for the region
The new building also increases the number of jobs at the site. The business park is conveniently located in the Aachen city region and offers space for further construction phases. The company therefore remains rooted in the region it has called home since it was founded.
“Climate-friendly energy supply is one of the great tasks of our time. We are particularly pleased that it allows us to offer young people in the region a career perspective.”
Niklas Reinartz, Managing Director
Planning is under way; construction on Robert-Koch-Strasse is scheduled to begin later this year.
