340 kWp rooftop PV system on a retail store in Bad Segeberg
For a retail store in Bad Segeberg, Centroplan realised a rooftop PV system with an installed module capacity of 340 kilowatts peak (kWp), in operation since January 2025.
Challenge
Retail properties have a high electricity demand during opening hours, for example for lighting or air conditioning. At the same time, their large, unused roof areas offer ideal conditions for photovoltaics. The aim was to use this area economically and to reduce the store's energy costs in the long term.
Solution
Centroplan installed a PV system with 340 kWp module capacity and 250 kW inverter capacity on the roof. The Ceniq 2 system is used as the mounting structure. The system was connected to the grid in January 2025 and has been supplying clean electricity for the site ever since.
