3.9 MWp rooftop PV system on three halls in Günzburg
In summer 2026, a rooftop PV system by Centroplan was connected to the grid at a production site in Günzburg. Spread across three halls, it has an installed module capacity of 3,857 kilowatts peak (kWp) and an inverter capacity of 3,301.48 kW.
Challenge
The three halls differ in their roof construction: hall 1 has a membrane roof, while halls 2 and 3 are green roofs. Each roof type places its own demands on the installation, from protecting the roof waterproofing to integrating with the greenery. What was needed, therefore, was a concept that combines all three roofs into one economical overall system.
Solution
We combined different mounting systems, using the right substructure for each roof area. Together, the three sections form a system with 3,857 kWp module capacity that has been generating solar power since summer 2026.
